Unspoiled Africa: Illustration and Painting in São Tomé and Príncipe

 This month-long residency in the island nation of São Tomé and Príncipe offers 3 studio credits in illustration or painting, with an optional 3 credits in art history or humanistic studies-classes may be taken for undergraduate and graduate credit or audit. Students and faculty investigate the intriguing landscape of this tropical African island in the Gulf of Guinea through group excursions and plein air drawing and painting to create work that is inspired by this unique setting.
